Modified Plastics

Compared with rubber, elastomer focuses more on the meaning of physics and material science, and its scope is broader. In addition to rubber, elastomers also include many polymer materials with different elastic deformation and diversified crosslinking modes of macromolecular chains. It can be seen that rubber is the most representative type of elastomer. In this sense, common rubbers, including styrene butadiene rubber, CIS butadiene rubber, isoprene rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, butyl rubber, chloroprene rubber and nitrile rubber, belong to elastomers.
